Biggs Christmas Letter 2023

Friends & Family,

Merry Christmas from the Biggs!

After a wild 2022 with our engagement, marriage, and European honeymoon we thought 2023 would seem tame but alas, we kept the crazy going. Here’s a few of our highlights:

We lead our first couples small group together at church this year. Lucky for us we ended up with an amazing group of couples and we had such a great time growing in relationship with each other and closer to God. We are looking forward to continuing those friendships & our leadership in 2024.

We continued traveling A LOT. Denver, Houston, North Carolina in May where we met our new nephew Gideon (niece/nephew #8!) and got to see Becca’s parents new hometown. This summer we got to cruise with Blake’s high school friends and Becca’s college roommate and her husband. Such a fun adventure with our world’s collided. In August we went to Cancun to celebrate our first anniversary with our Houston friends and made a whole slew of new friends who would later visit us in Tampa in November! One of our summer highlights was definitely getting to have our nephew, Ashton (11) stay with us for a week while school was out!

Blake got back into hunting after a year off (engagement, marriage, honeymoon probs) and got his first gator! Hunting season also brought with it a freezer full of gator and venison and we got to introduce our friends to gator nuggets. While she didn’t shoot any game this year Becca DID make it back to Purdue for her first football game since graduation with her college roommate, Alyssa and to Nashville for her 7th annual girls trip.

In November we got to cheer the UNC Football team to a victory over Duke in double overtime, seeing Becca’s Dad in action back at his alma mater where he’s now working. While there we also played a marathon 3 day game of monopoly with 4 of our nieces and nephews and cheered Titus (10) to victory in soccer.

16 months into marriage we continue to be humbled by the Lord’s faithfulness to us as a couple. It’s been an incredible year. We are extremely grateful for our community we have through church and our friend group made up of friends far and near. We love spending time with our families and especially the 8 little people who call us Aunt B and Uncle Blake. In 2024 we hope to continue to love our people well, travel often, work hard, and serve the Lord as a team.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Blake, Becca, and Gabby Biggs
