Welcome

Ozark Mountains- New Years 2022

Hello bloggers, my old friends.

I’ve been on a several year hiatus from personal blogging but in 2022 I hope to change that. I have been serving as a content writer and blog editor for a non-profit organization and writing content as a ghost writer but look forward to writing as myself, for myself once again in 2022. So welcome. I expect this year will be busy and exciting as I’ve recently stepped into a new role at work, I’m in my longest and most serious dating relationship ever, and together we’re starting to map out our hopes and dreams for the future. I hope this can be a place to share that journey and also to offer advice along the way.

If you weren’t around for my previous blog adventures let me tell you a little about myself (and here’s a life update for those who have been missing out the last couple of years):

Still living in the Tampa area where 3 years ago my parents joined me. Working in the automotive industry as a Retention Manager (formerly accounting) for an auto group that owns 3 soon to be 4 Nissan dealerships and one Acura dealership. My job is to help us retain employees and as a result, customers. I am nearing the end of my third year serving on the Board of Directors for Crossroads Career Institute where we help the unemployed, misemployed, and underemployed seek God’s plan for the their lives and find fulfillment at work. I am passionate about reading and am currently trying to meet my loftiest goal yet of 200 books in 2022. In early 2021 I met Blake. In a year I had literally themed with the word ‘love’ I found him (on the internet ha ha) and got to fall in love while purposing to love God and his people well. It has been the most amazing gift. I’m sure you’ll get to read plenty of gushing along the way but he is by far the thing I’m most thankful for from 2021 and as I’ve begun 2022.

What can you expect here? Hmm, humor, honesty, unsolicited advice, and probably some quality recipes.

It feels good to be back.

Love,

B
