Day One: The List Keeper
Why start a project to get my (read: our) act together? The last year my entire life has changed. I got engaged, then married, then my husband moved in with a dog (the first time I’ve ever had a dog), and my role at work shifted in a major way a few months later. Oh and my parents moved away after my Dad retired from the NFL to taking a college analyst job in North Carolina. So here I am living this amazing life in so many new roles and I just want to excel at them all. I want to be the best I can be in every area and to do that, I need to get my act together. So come on the journey with me. I will link products here (and full disclosure I do benefit from some of them if they’re purchased) but I’ll also keep them on a board on my Pinterest (@bcanbakethat) as well if you have trouble finding them. I’ll share video content about the process on my Tiktok as well so link up with me there for more content along the journey.
Day one I’m going to share with you how I keep my lists. This notebook is THE best one I’ve found for ‘to do’ lists if like me you prefer the paper method. I’ll admit that I do have an app (any.do) that I use for some lists but to keep organized throughout busy days managing work, home, and projects I love a paper list where I can check off my progress as I go. Also, having them in a small spiral notebook lets me bring my lists with me everywhere and work a few days ahead as I think of what I need to accomplish. So, if that appeals to you here’s the one I love:
I think we all have to leave room for what works for us. If you don’t love the paper idea any.do is a great, free app to use and you can even share certain lists with coworkers or your spouse. Those can be a win as well.
