July Reading
I needed a little motivation as I tried to tackle some ‘getting around to it’ this summer. This book helped me rally for another round of purging and donating as well as work to come up with a better routine to keep us clean, organized, and on top of our game.
Any other Jo Gaines fans in the room? I really like her. So when I saw she had a new book out I had to give it a listen. I did do this one on audiobook and I enjoyed that she was the one reading it.
If you’ve been around me long you know that Elin Hilderbrand is one of my favorite authors. We read this for book club and honestly, I loved it. Even more after we discussed and realized who each of would have been within the book. If you’ve read it, I’m definitely a Hollis.
Confession: book club read this like 2 months ago and I didn’t even try. I was having a tough time and reading just fell off my radar for a few weeks but I left it on my holds list and came back. I was so glad I did! I really enjoyed this one.
5. The Last Lie
Pretty sure my Mom doesn’t read this blog but Mom stop here. This is a spooky dark one but I loved it. I like some of that in my reading life.
Also, good news: I ordered my first Kindle since the OG one dropped when I was in like middle school during Prime Day and it’s supposed to arrive this week.
