June Reading

Since getting married 10 months ago now I’ve had a hard time getting back into my reading groove. I’ve been reading really consistently since college which I attribute largely to setting a yearly goal. I started with 50 books a year in my first post-college job with my coworker, Joy. Since then I’ve done one every year and completely between 50-200 book every year. But since getting married I found I was watching way more TV and doing way less reading and to be honest I just didn’t feel like myself. So, this summer I’m prioritizing getting back in my reading groove. Here’s a few of the books I finished in the month of June.

A marriage book recommended by my friend Rachel from Kentucky. Really needed this one.

Needed this one. Loved her style of writing and her honesty. Also, was fascinated by her business experience.

I’ve read several Rachel Hollis books but to be honest I both liked this the most and related the most to it. This one I did on audio and really loved hearing it in her own voice.

I chose this for my book club to read in June (discuss in July) and honestly it got me back in my groove. It made me want to read again and I’m so grateful. Fun beach read (for cruise read in my case).
